Our Story

After 25 years in the wine, craft beer, hospitality and restaurant businesses in the Pacific Northwest, Dustin and Maryfrances Wyant opened Park & Main in April 2020.  “We wanted to create a living room for our community to gather over great food/drinks and honor the bounty of the Willamette Valley.”  Mission accomplished!  Locals can be seen dining (sometimes multiple days a week), on wood fired pizzas, creative locally sourced specials and unique (boozy) homemade ice cream.  Park & Main has become a basecamp for the Oregon wine country, where world famous winemakers blend seamlessly with international travelers and locals alike.

The vision of a community driven establishment also extends into what has become one of the best wine shops in the Willamette Valley. Oregon wines are well represented of course with single vineyard pinot noirs, Burgundian style chardonnay and a burgeoning selection of sparkling wine.  Additionally, a generous selection of Italian wines, smattering of French and Spanish wines sit alongside a large selection of Champagne.  Bottles are retail price (not restaurant) and no corkage is charged to open and enjoy with dinner.  A fine selection of local craft beer and cider is always rotating on the taps, along with a fun selection of mead, aromatized wines, amaro, vermouths, seasonal cocktails and N/A beverages.

Executive Chef/Director of Culinary Operations – Phillip Michael Price leads the culinary team.  Phillip began his love for food in his youth when he and his family moved to Europe. Phillip started in the hospitality industry at 14 years didn’t stop cooking. During and after culinary school & college Phillip has been lucky to work in some incredible restaurants, from award winning hotels to James Beard noted restaurants, an intimate private chef business and Michelin starred kitchens. Phillip joined the Wyant Hospitality Group (Park & Main and soon to open Ikigai as the Executive Chef in late 2023.  Phillip has brought his southern spirit and extensive knowledge of food to Carlton and Yamhill County. Phillip is excited about being in Carlton, planting roots here, and continuing to feed and connect with all of the wonderful locals and diners.

The Park & Main atmosphere is very approachable with brick and beam accents and the centerpiece, a giant tile covered Italian made, wood burning pizza oven named Priscilla Ann after Dustin’s mom.  There is cozy and welcoming atmosphere inside and ample outdoor seating on the patio in back, including firepit tables.  Seating is first come first served, no reservations.  Catering both on and off-site is available.  Our mission of Family, Friends, Community is symbolic of our love of hospitality and connecting with people.  We hope to serve you soon!
